advice? would your period get lighter each month you take birth control?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Michael Hulse
26 years experience Gynecology
Sometimes: A birth control pill will tend to make your period lighter, more regualar and less painful. Depending on your baseline bleeding a birth control pill could make your period lighter each month. Sometimes a pill can stop you from having a period at all.
