how do i know if i need otoplasy (cosmetic ear surgery)?

A personal decision : Otoplasty surgery can mean different things. Most commonly it is "ear pinning" or flattening prominent ears. This is a very individual decision much like rhinoplasty. Often persons request this surgery if they don't like how much their ears stick out and are constantly covering their ears with their hair. Some parents request this for their children due to taunting by other children.
