Aspirin: Overdose of Aspirin is particularly toxic to your liver. If the over dose is very large it can be life threatening unless immediately seen and treated by a physician. It can be extremely serious.
Dr. Nestor Del rosario
Addiction Medicine 34 years experience
Many: Overdose of Aspirin can cause bleeding from ulcers or platelet dysfunction and bleeding in many places, can cause kidney dysfunction and an initial rapid breath to get rid of acid and the failure of that mechanism leads to metabolic acidosis, renal and respiratory failure. It can cause ringing in the ears. That is why even the commercial advocating use of Aspirin as a regular pain med scares me.
Dr. Robert Killian
General Practice 28 years experience
It is estimated that 30,000 Americans die every year from aspirin related problems such as Dr. Del Rosario has described. Aspirin is very dangerous when overused or used as a way to end one's life.

Steroids absorbed : Depending on which topical steroid, how much is applied to how much skin area, and for how long there could be enough systematic absorption for effects to other areas. Realize that would also imply greater likelyhood of systemic side effects.
