if it took me almost a year to get pregnant after an iud was taken out (had it 3 yrs) could it take the same amount of time this go around?

Possibly: It's rd to predict how long it will take to become pregnant, regardless of the type of birth control you were using. It can take up to a year for normal fertile couples.
