The tip of my nose is very tender in the left nostril. from the outside it doesn't appear red but it actually appears like a small white/opaque color.

Vestibulitis: Greetings, it sounds like you may have an inflammatory condition inside the nose. It is wise to see your doctor or ENT specialist for an accurate diagnosis and treatment. This may require an antibiotic by mouth and/or a topical. A nasal endoscopy may also be needed. Good luck.

May be infection: Sounds like an infection. Often this is mrsa. Need to have exam by ENT specialist.
