Depends: Most women who had a prior c-section are candidates for a vaginal trial of labor in a subsequent pregnancy. There are some restrictions and limitations (concerns for safety of the patient.) your doctor can explain these contraindications. However, the success rate, depending on the reason for the 1st delivery, approached 70-80%.
