How can I get rid of angular cheilitis?

1 doctor answer1 doctor weighed in
Dr. Gary Sandler
Dentistry 54 years experience
The cause first...: There are many causes of angular cheilits and therefore treatment varies accordingly. The most common cause is simply dry skin or some irritation followed by constant lip licking. Denture wearers with an over-closed bite is another common cause. Fungal infections, more commonly and vitamin deficiency, less frequently. If this is a recurrent probem see a dentist and\or physician.

How can I prevent headaches during my office job?

1 doctor answer2 doctors weighed in
Dr. James Marx

Multiple Ways: Get your eyes checked-you may need corrective lenses. Address ergonomic issues leading to neck strain such as the monitor being too high or low, chair being too high or low, etc. Do some eye-resting activities such as getting up and walking around or looking off into the distance and focusing there instead of your deskwork. Avoid caffeine as this can also lead to headaches, especially when quiting.
