How can pulmonary hypertension disease affect your circulatory system?

Effect....: Pulmonary hypertension means the right side of the heart needs to work harder to pump blood into the lung circulation due to the increased pressure. This, in turn, can lead to increased pressures in the peripheral circulation which eventually can lead to increased work of the left side of the heart.
