need doctor help! how to tell if my mom is suffering from a strangulated hernia?

Take her to ER: If you think your mother has a strangulated hernia she should be taken to the er immediately as this is an emergency! the signs would be a hernia that is extremely tender to touch, nausea, vomiting, and you aren't able to push the hernia back into the abdomen.
