can low progesterone cause absense seizures?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Jeff Livingston
21 years experience Obstetrics and Gynecology
Some link: There is evidence that some types of seizures are related to a drop in progesterone. These are quite rare and would need to be managed by a neurologist.
