Hi doctors, can you tell me what is pelvic abcess and what causes it?

Pelvic abscess: There are vital organs in the pelvis and lower abdomen -that if injured or attacked by germs can lead to disease. I think of an appendix rupturing for example. Or, a uterine problem in a woman. Finding the abscess on imaging, then draining it, and giving the right antibiotics should lead to a cure. Hopefully you have a team of doctors working on your case. Be sure to ask questions if you need info
