Alcohol Toxins: It depends. Small cases will go away fairly quickly. Extreme cases can lead to death. Many people do permanent brain damage from chronic overuse of alcohol, which cannot be recovered from. All alcohol, if consumed at all, should be done very moderately. Overuse is never okay.

Stay with them: As you mentioned, calling for emergency help is first and most important thing to do. While waiting, stay with the person. Try to keep them upright in a sitting position. If they vomit, you do not want them to choke on it-that is probably the most important thing to do while waiting for help to arrive.

Completely different: Alcohol poisoning can cause respiratory depression and can lead to death. Exsanguination is really something all together different and means bleeding out, or bleeding to death.
