Please go to Doctor: I think a diagnosis of muscle spasticity in life versus what a physician would call a disease or a condition may very well be different. Please bring this concern to your daughter's pediatrician for the proper examination and diagnosis.
Dr. James Ferguson

Hard to say: Spasticity usually relates to lack of coordinated nerve messages from the brain and may indicate a subtle brain injury often called cerebral palsy in its more dramatic forms. A muscle disorder implies selective abnormality in the muscle, usually producing a weakness. An exam and testing if indicated can separate the likely cause. It is time for a discussion with your doc.
