Possibly: Infections like MRSA can lead to the response of a lymph node as that is what lymph nodes do. They are involved with the body's defense against infection. However, the ct scan will provide more information if there are other lymph nodes involved.Swelling of lymph nodes can also occur with lymphoma-a type of cancer that localizes to the lymph nodes.Work closely with your doctor to figure this out.
