Many: Conditions like lupus can cause rather fast changes depending on control of disease. What causes more of these problems are medications we give especially for blood pressure and notorious ones are diuretics. Infections, obstructions of flow can do it too. Have it evaluated and your doctor can explain better with results there in front of him/her. Good luck.

Recheck: Increased creatinine in lupus could be sec to medications, dehydration, lupus flare. Creatinine must be rechecked, urine analysis should be done to look for blood and protein, lupus blood tests must be done to look for lupus activity.May need kidney biopsy if none gives the answer.
