Meloxicam: Meloxicam, like other nsaids, can affect kidney function. This usually isn't an issue in young healthy adults, but patients with other risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking, etc, have to be very careful if they use prescription or over the counter nsaids. Tramadol is a pain medication and would not typically affect kidney function.
