MFP: Myofascial pain syndrome. In addition to local tenderness, referred pain. Mfp is characterized by other associated symptoms: increased muscle fatigue and stiffness, a mildly restricted motion, pain when the muscle is stretched, and a subjective feeling of weakness in the muscle. Headache, vertigo, visual disturbances and jaw pain may also be present. See pain management specialist for diagnosis.
