Normal hourse sleep: Sleep at 90 is studied as is sleep throughout ages. There is less deeper sleep as we age. The amounts are roughly the same 6-8 hours. Elderly people it may be normal to go back to napping in the day to make up for sleep disruption at night (one or two short naps > 1 hours). In 13 yr old the amount is about the same as 6-12 yr old (range between 9-12 hours of sleep) but the cycle is delayed.
