If you are aiming: For extremely low carbohydrates - think of corn as a starch. Corn should be eaten right after it is picked because the sugars in corn rapidly become starches. A large ear of sweet corn has > 24 grams of carbs. A program like atkin's induction phase may allow for only 20 net grams of carbs per day.
