If you are an: Adult - teeth don't usually just fall out. There is usually not a bad odor when a tooth comes out. Please see your dentist promptly - you could have a serious infection.

Tooth: teeth don't just fall out. There is a problem, an infection, that caused this. See a dentist ASAP and get this treated. Do not wait.
Dr. Debra Rosenblatt
Dentistry 38 years experience
Contact your dentist: Need to be evaluated. Was this tooth an over-retained primary tooth, whose outcome was never addressed? Permanent teeth can become loose with trauma or periodontal disease, contact your dentist.
Dr. Arnold Malerman
Orthodontics 53 years experience
Not normal: Best guess from your description (tooth falling out + bed taste) would be an infection. Sounds like your way overdue for dental care. Please see Dentist immediately.

Tooth fell out ?: Appears you need dental care, and pronto. It's not normal for teeth to just fall out. See a local dentist for an examination and treatment plan.

Bed breath: can result from inadequate oral hygiene or bed habits and may be a sign of other health problems. See your dentist for Halimeter test, diagnosis and bad breath treatment that depends on its cause. Good luck.
Dr. Brian Hoffman
Dentistry 14 years experience
Not Normal: Nothing about this scenario is 'normal'. Teeth do not just 'fall out' and having a bad taste in your mouth as a result of the tooth loss is also not necessarily a normal, or healthy, characteristic. Please see your DMD before your problem gets worse.
