Hard to say but...: This is impossible to know for sure but from your description it sounds like there is a good chance it is broken and/or dislocated. I advise you go to an urgent care clinic tomorrow to get an x-ray. In the meantime, you can apply ice and elevate it ; take Aspirin or Ibuprofen for pain. If available, you can also take homeopathic arnica which can help with pain, bruising and swelling.
