Any time: Usually spotting after conception is due to implantation in the uterus, a few days after conception has happened. This may not initially happen but the blood can be present in the uterus before expelled trough the cervix (usually with cramping and small in amount; from brown to pink or red). Usually you notice the blood about 2 weeks after conception (4 weeks after lmp), it can look like a period.

Implantation bleedin: Some women can/do experience slight implantation bleeding--that is when the fertilized egg implants itself into the lining of the uterus causes some bleeding (spotting). Spotting is quite common during the first couple of months of pregnancy. If significant cramping/bleeding occurs, consult doc. Good luck.
