I haven't slept well in two weeks, it's starting to affect my mood and studies, would sleeping pills be a good idea? my friend gave me some pills.

See a doc: There are many reasons to explain sleep disorders, both physical and psychological. Just taking a pill, especially if not yours, would be ill advised. Visit your doc to be evaluated properly. Best to you.

Need evaluation: If you haven't slept well in 2 weeks, i'd say it's time for a visit to your own doctor rather than accepting pills that were not prescribed for you. Your information indicates graves' disease, which can certainly lead to anxiety and insomnia and more, if untreated. I don't know what has been done about that in your case so far, but your insomnia could well be related ; your doctor needs to know.
