i can usually stand outside for hours in the sun without getting burned. is that a bad or good thing in terms of skin cancer?

People with skin: That burns may be "more susceptible" to skin cancer, but sun exposure and tanning booths cause actinic damage, radiaton and uv light frequencies that still may cause all of the common cancers. You are spared the burn, but not the risk.
