Anafranil (clomipramine): Anafranil (clomipramine) can be very helpful for ocd, but does have strong anticholinergic effects which can interfere with memory and other cognitive functioning. Please discuss your experiences with your psychiatrist, so that they can be addressed. Perhaps your dose could be decreased to see if it still controls symptoms and your memory improves. If not, there are other options for ocd. Best wishes.
