Does masturbation cause penis to bleed?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Robert Killian
27 years experience in General Practice
Hematospermia: Bleeding can occur with vigorous or traumatic sexual activity and is usually limited to the acute setting and does not represent anything to be worried about. If the bleeding, however, continues you must get in to see your physician. But, in general masturbation is without any health or medical consequences and is a normal and common human activity.
