i've had brain and sine mri to rule out ms. both clear but dr wants to do nerve tests.and lumbar puncture fed up now so are tests necessary?

Depends: This is a complex question. Why are you being evaluated, what symptoms do you have and are they progressive. If there are progressive neurological symptoms, a diagnosis is a good idea.
