Avoid sugar: Tea is not harmful to the teeth although it could cause some staining of the teeth. The problem is the sugar added to the tea by many people. If you avoid sugar you are safe.

Mostly stain: Regarding teeth. Assuming you are not putting anything in the tea, the only risks are stain and darkening. The stain will be removed when your teeth are cleaned, and you can whiten your teeth.
