Nerve stretch injury: Any radiating pain from neck under shoulder blade is generally a nerve irritation. Muscle strains can also cause some radiating pain but usually stays localized to the scapula or shoulder blade. If pain does not resolve in 3 weeks seek physical therapy evaluation.
