As important as ever: Diet control is just as important during periods of vigorous exercise as when we are less active. The best analogy may be when you consider a performance motor vehicle. If you owned a racing car, you would not want to skimp on the quality of fuel you placed in the tank. Likewise, sound nutrition, the fuel for good health, will go a long way in making your body perform at peak performance.
