As Usual All Depends: How much water intake, how much water output, how hot, how cold, internal function & brain controls of heart, liver, kidneys, sweating, fear, relaxation and the list goes on. Do not dumb things down, never works. Instead pick, measure & track strategy, whatever it is & avoid all the dominant & widely marketed nonsense. Weight daily, after arising, nothing on, on scale to 0.1 lb accuracy, log/track.

Day 1 of water fasting how much weight can a person lose on that day?

Water fasting? : Reducing water intake won't help you to lose actual body weight, like fat mass. You'll lose water weight, which will simply, come back once you drink water again. So I'm uncertain of your long-term goal of water fasting. Water keeps us healthy.

PLEASE ...: Don't engage in a lengthy water fast to lose weight. It is unhealthy. Your body will go into starvation mode. Your metabolic rate will drop and then you can easily put weight on.

See Dr., then eat...: If one is truly underweight (based on height, family background, and body type), a Dr. can evaluate for a hormonal, digestive, or other disorder. If no medical cause is found, then one can add weight by eating more calories of nutritious foods, while also doing weight-training to increase muscle. Proteins: egg white, chicken breast, salmon, ... Better fats: olive oil, peanuts, almonds, tofu, ....
