Diet and Diabetes: Insulin resistance which leads to type 2 diabetes, is a complex metabolic problem that generally develops over years of poor diet, and other lifestyle factors.
The symptoms you describe could be from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or from sudden detoxification of alcohol. Either situation is dangerous. You should make changes under the direction of a doctor.
