Alcohol withdrawal?: You may be suffering from withdrawing from alcohol too fast- glad that you are trying to do something about it but you may need your doctor's help in getting you off of alcohol. Yes , most cases of type ii diabetes are related to bad diet or too much intake in the diet.

Diet and Diabetes: Insulin resistance which leads to type 2 diabetes, is a complex metabolic problem that generally develops over years of poor diet, and other lifestyle factors. The symptoms you describe could be from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or from sudden detoxification of alcohol. Either situation is dangerous. You should make changes under the direction of a doctor.
