every time i lift my left arm to about face level my shoulder "pops" like when i crack my knuckles. it only happens with my left shoulder. why?

Difficult to say: 'popping 'of the shoulder as long as it painless and not associated w/instability is not anything to worry about.Alot of joints'pop'for various reasons.Nothing to worry about!
