Vein Thrombosis : Brain mr angiogram (mra) and mr venography (mrv) are specifically designed to examine your blood vessels. Mrv is often used to examine the intracranial venous system, particularly in the evaluation of dural sinus thrombosis. Mri in conjunction with mrv is both sensitive and specific enough to provide the best noninvasive method of diagnosing cerebral venous thrombosis.
