Merits evaluation.: Each symptom merits a careful evaluation. For example, if the chest pain is worse with deep breaths, it might be pleurisy (inflammation of the sac surrounding the lung); or it could be a right breast inflammatory process, or a blood clot in the axillary vein in the armpit. Similarly, the shortness of breath, foot and calf symptoms merit a doctor's assessment.
