Had ct for poss brain tumor. just gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby three months ago. can this be possible? wouldn't my child have had defects?

Confusing question: I'll assume you mean you had a ct while pregnant but had a normal baby afterward.Congratulations. Although we try to avoid radiation, specifically higher dose procedures like a ct while pregnant, that does not mean the exposure to your head, several feet away from the fetus, would have any direct effect.

No relation: Women who have brain tumors and are pregnant are not at risk to transfer any abnormality from their brain tumor to their fetus. So a perfectly normal fetus can be delivered as a normal baby even from a woman with a brain tumor. Your question does not indicate if your ct showed a tumor or not. Discuss the results with your physicians.
