I have a bump that was probably folliculitis a year ago that scabbed over. it still becomes inflamed and itchy every 2 weeks or so. what can i do?

My take is ...: All hair follicle-related infection/abscess results from infection in blocked sebaceous glands. After pooping off and healed, the capsules of glands are still there for re- accumulating sebum to form bumps. If recurrence continues, surgical excision of their whole capsules is needed. So, seek professional evaluation and counseling timely.
