when to get checked: You should get checked by your regular doc. If you have fever, vomiting or pain then go to er. Otherwise call for appointment. An ultrasound of abdomen and special attention to ovaries would be a helpful test. Your doc will likely run blood tests and do a complete exam. Be well.
