Yes: The vaccines offer you the best available protection against the specific form of hepatitis they are for. However, there are many forms of hepatitis for which there are no vaccines and these may occur in anyone.An example is the toxic effect of an overdose of Acetaminophen or a variety of chemicals. Illnesses like mono and mumps also often have a mild hepatitis.
