How safe is it to take the oral homeopathic hcg drops to lose weight. everyone seems to be losing a lot on it. my friend joined "shape reclaimed".

Not recommended: Homeopathic HCG was taken off the market in december 2011. The fda and ftc issued warning letters to multiple companies selling these products for making unsubstantiated claims. http://tinyurl.com/mqklddh homeopathic HCG differs from products given by injection, which are still on the market. Besides the daily injections, a 500 calorie diet is also required. The HCG supposedly prevents hunger.

Won't work: There isn't enough HCG in a homeopathic remedy to work. It can only be done under the supervision of a trained physician to make sure it is done the right way and safe. http://www.prlog.org/12249227-hcg-diet-offered-in-new-jersey.html.

Your answer seems to assume that only material quantities of a substance can "work." While I agree with you that using homeopathic hCG is inadvisable, we disagree on the reasons why. Best wishes.
