Can ovaries be hidden by fibroids or cysts?

Yes: It may be difficult to identify the ovaries on imaging (ultrasound, mri, or ct) if cysts, fibroids, or other pelvic masses are seen. That said, if the ovaries cannot be identified they are probably normal.
