Can you check for fibrosis in the penis?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Robert Donato
24 years experience in Urology
Peyronies Disease: You have described peyronies disease. It is a scarring of the rods of the penis that causes pain, curvature and can progress to ED. Genetics, trauma and some medical problems play a role. Peyronies is more common in diabetics, who already have risk factors for ed. Unfortunately medical treatments have been disappointing. Surgical treatment is usually reserved for those unable to penetrate.
