i have a bruise and pain on my right thumb along with a bruise on my wrist. what could be the problem?

Trauma: Spontaneous bleeding- bruising can occur but is unusual. Think about falls, push-ups, hit, twist etc. Any family history of bleeding or clotting, would further encourage exam, x-rays and lab tests.
