Natural and balanced: A balanced diet of natural (not overly processed) foods is best for health and growth, but is not likely to increase one's final height in the U.S. (because one is unlikely to be malnourished in the U.S., even if eating junk food). Eat lean meats without skin, fish, tofu, nuts and nut butters. Add whole grains, colorful veggies, and fortified cereals. Avoid fried foods, animal fats, and sugars.
