The veins in my wrist are extremely itchy. why; some sort of allergy?

Dry skin: My guess - pure guess - is that the skin overlying your veins itch - likely due to dry skin. "allergic" involvement of veins - actually immunologic involvement of veins is called vasculitis. The symptoms are bruising, burning & possibly pain. But this is another question that is hard to answer on healthnet. You are going to have to see your physician for this one.
