i sprained my ankle abt a month now but i can still walk on the sprained leg but i feel slight pain when i touch the ankle and its swollen a little can this be a fracture and can it heal on its own

Walking with sprain: Absolutely walking is a great step to rehabilitation. You should not limp so use of one crutch or cane should be considered to smooth out your gait.

Further evaluation.: @ 4 months you are still having problems, further evaluation is needed. Another MRI or possible compartment syndrome testing. Get another opinion.
