?Ganglion cyst: My guess is that the bump is actually on the wrist, not so much in the palm. If that's the case, it could be a ganglion cyst, a benign process.

Cyst: Get it checked out bu your pcp , probably it is a ganglion cyst which is benign, but it needs to be checked out.
