I enjoy caring for my patients and educating them about the options they have with each of their plastic surgery issues. These important consultation discussions help patients to understand their personal medical situation and to make better, informed cosmetic surgery choices. I encourage my patients to ask questions and always welcome lists of items and issues to discuss.
I always try to see surgical situations from my patient’s perspective. I was brought up in a small town where everyone talks to each other, and that makes it easy for me to relate to my patients. I want to be sure my patients are comfortable with me as their surgeon and the decisions we need to make together. I want all my patients to feel like they are being treated like I would want my family treated. I especially want my patients to feel better about themselves when I am done, whether the procedure is a chemical peel for facial wrinkles, the facelift they have sought for years or the replantation of severed fingers from a traumatic hand accident.
