About

Bio

I earned my Doctorate in Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine and my Doctorate of Philosophy in Molecular Pathobiology through Drexel University. I trained in General Surgery at MCP-Hahnemann in Philadelphia and at the University of Utah Health Sciences in Salt Lake City, and I am a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I subsequently completed a Fellowship in Abdominal Transplant Surgery at Columbia University and have been a practicing abdominal transplant surgeon for over twelve years, with particular interests in living kidney donation, management of post-transplant infections, and optimization of immunosuppression for improved outcomes.
