Growing up on a Northern Cape farm, I developed a love for the outdoors, cooking and, of course, a good old-fashioned braai. Early in high school, I developed an interest in medicine. After matriculating, I studied medicine at the University of Stellenbosch.
After my MB ChB graduation in 2012, I did my internship at the very busy Leratong Hospital in Krugersdorp and then I completed my community service at 1 Military Hospital in Pretoria, working initially in casualty before moving to anaesthetics.
I have a keen interest in family medicine and enjoy the diversity that working with people brings to my life.
